I learnt so much from Jaki starting my training at AAAIB. I looked forward to my training every week; Jaki always made it fun, engaging and it was inspiring to see how passionate Jaki is . She taught in a way that made every skill and theory so clear and easy to understand; I never felt like it was a chore and thoroughly enjoyed learning something new each week, and thanks to Jaki, I had a 100% pass rate!
Jaki is the one that made me want to continue when I got to London; I completed my Level 4 training but I would like to continue later on in life when I have gained more life experience and when more settled. Jaki has definitely been a great influence and it would be amazing to do what she does. (JR)

The 10 week Intro to Counselling Skills is fantastic. It takes place in a relaxed environment with excellent training and role play situations to help understand the counselling skills. I enjoyed it so much I have since completed the Diploma in Counselling through the Open College. This was only because I moved from the area or I would definitely have completed it through AAAIB. Also the 1 day workshops are worthwhile as well. I loved the Drug and Alcohol awareness and Personality Adaptation workshops. Biscuits are always good too. (DC)
I have studied counselling for three years with AAAIB; introduction through to advanced diploma and travelled four hours every Thursday to attend. I found the tutors to be most supportive throughout and I have had an incredible journey and grown as a person to support others through my experience. I would highly recommend AAAIB to anyone who wishes to ‘have a go’ – one can become hooked on the welcome and support one receives every week. (HB)
