Level 4 equivalent Certificate in Psychodynamic Theory

 Level 4 equivalent Certificate in Psychodynamic Theory

Course Details;

This unit will provide learners with an overview of the key concepts of Psychodynamic theory and allow them to explore the particular opportunities and challenges of working with clients in this model. This unit aims to enable learners to develop a theoretical and practical understanding of a Psychodynamic approach

The benefits of Psychodynamic therapy are rooted in the understanding that recognising behaviours for what they are can help clients build healthy coping mechanisms. Psychodynamic therapy provides answers to why we do what we do, tying past events and subconscious constructs into present behaviours and behaviour patterns. Once there is an answer for why, it is easier to address the behaviour for what it is. The benefits are long lasting because there is an answer to the behaviour and coping skills to alleviate the symptoms
