Single Session Therapy

Single Session Therapy (SST) is a focused, one-off counselling approach designed to make the most of just one meeting between a client and a therapist.

Instead of planning for multiple sessions, the idea is to address a specific concern or goal in a single, structured conversation. The therapist helps the client explore their issue, gain insight, and leave with clear, practical steps or a sense of resolution.

While it’s “single session” by design, clients can always return for another session if needed — but each meeting is treated as if it might be the only one.

Single Session Therapy is all about making one good talk count. Instead of a long series of appointments, you and the therapist focus on what matters most right now — one issue, one session, and some clear steps forward. It’s practical, focused, and often surprisingly effective — like a quick mental tune-up when you need it most.
